File upload fields
Need respondents to share a resume, document, image or another file? Add a file upload field to your form.
Updated
OG Forms lets respondents upload files directly through your form. You can collect documents and other files without asking people to send them separately by email.
How file uploads work
A file upload field gives respondents a place to select and upload files when filling out your form.
You can use it for:
- Collecting resumes and CVs in job applications
- Receiving documents during client onboarding
- Collecting images for registrations or applications
- Asking customers to share supporting documents
Add a file upload field
Add a File upload field to your form.
You can use the AI assistant to create a form that includes file upload questions, or add the field while editing your form.
Configure file uploads
You can configure how many files respondents can upload and the maximum file size for each upload.
The field also supports image previews. You can control whether image previews are shown to respondents.
File storage limits
Uploaded files count towards your workspace's file storage limit.
| Plan | File storage |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 MB |
| Pro | 1 GB |
The storage limit applies to files uploaded by respondents. Images, videos and PDFs that you add to your own form content do not count towards this limit.
What happens when someone submits a file?
Files are uploaded before the form is submitted. OG Forms waits for uploads to finish before allowing the submission to complete.
This helps prevent a response from being submitted while its files are still uploading.
