Per form access
Sometimes you want to share a form with one person without giving them access to your entire workspace.
Updated
OG Forms lets you share an individual form with a specific person and choose what they can do with it.
What is per form access?
Per form access lets you give someone permission to work with or respond to a specific form.
You can choose between two permissions:
- Edit: Invite someone to edit the form. They receive their own copy, so their changes do not affect your original form.
- Answer: Invite someone to fill out the form and submit a response.
Invite someone to edit a form
Use the Edit permission when you want someone to work on a form without changing your original.
For example, you could share a job application form with a teammate so they can create their own version for another role.
The invited person needs to sign in or create an OG Forms account to accept the invitation. They work on their own copy of the form.
Invite someone to answer a form
Use the Answer permission when you want a specific person to fill out your form.
For example, you could invite a client to complete an intake form or ask a colleague to test a questionnaire.
The person can open the invitation and submit their response.
How per form access works with workspace roles
Workspace roles and per form access serve different purposes.
Workspace roles determine what a person can do across the workspace. Per form access lets you share one specific form with someone.
Workspace roles include Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer. Per form invitations use Edit or Answer permissions.
