Connect OG Forms to Zapier, Make and n8n

Want to do more with your form responses? Connect OG Forms to Zapier, Make or n8n using webhooks.

Updated

You can use this connection to send form events to other apps and build automated workflows without writing code.

For example, you can send new submission data to a CRM, notify another team, or start a workflow in your automation platform.

How the connection works

OG Forms sends an event to a webhook URL. Zapier, Make and n8n can receive that event and use it to start an automation.

The basic setup is the same across all three platforms:

  1. Create a webhook trigger in your automation platform.
  2. Copy the webhook URL it gives you.
  3. Add that URL to the webhook integration for your form in OG Forms.
  4. Choose the event you want to send.
  5. Test the connection and finish setting up your workflow.

Connect Zapier

Zapier lets you connect different apps and automate tasks between them.

Create a workflow in Zapier and choose its webhook trigger. Copy the webhook URL and add it to your OG Forms webhook integration.

When the selected event happens in OG Forms, Zapier receives it and can continue the workflow.

Connect Make

Make lets you build visual workflows using connected apps and actions.

Create a scenario in Make and add a custom webhook trigger. Copy its webhook URL into the webhook integration for your form in OG Forms.

Make can then use the incoming event to run the rest of your scenario.

Connect n8n

n8n lets you build workflows using connected services and custom logic.

Create a workflow in n8n and add a Webhook node. Copy the webhook URL and add it to your OG Forms webhook integration.

Your workflow can then use the incoming event to trigger other actions.

Which events can OG Forms send?

OG Forms supports these webhook events:

EventWhen it happens
form.response.createdA new response is submitted
form.publishedA form is published
form.closedA form is closed
member.joinedA member joins a workspace

You can also send a test event to check your connection.

Track webhook deliveries

OG Forms signs outgoing webhook payloads and retries failed deliveries with backoff.

Every delivery is recorded in a delivery log. You can review failed deliveries and replay them when needed.

OG Forms also alerts the owner by email when an integration starts failing.

Webhook delivery is at least once. This means an event may be delivered more than once, so your receiving workflow should be prepared to handle duplicate events.
