Customize your form link preview
When you share a form link on social media or in a messaging app, people may see a preview before they open it.
Updated
OG Forms lets you customize this preview with your own title, description and image. This helps people understand what the form is about before they click.
What is a link preview?
A link preview is the information displayed alongside a shared link.
It can include:
- Title: The name of your form or a custom heading.
- Description: A short explanation of what the form is for.
- Image: A visual that appears with the shared link.
Customize your link preview
Open your form's Share page to find the link preview settings.
You can change the title and description to explain what respondents can expect. You can also choose an image for the preview.
The preview image uses your form's cover image. OG Forms does not generate a separate image for link previews.
Write a clear title and description
Your preview should tell people what the form is about and why they should open it.
For example, if you are sharing a client intake form, you could use:
Title: New Client Intake Form
Description: Tell us a little about your business and what you need help with. It takes only a few minutes.
Keep the title short and make the description useful. Avoid vague text that does not explain what respondents will find.
