Make your form easy to complete
A good form should be easy to complete on any device. Respondents should be able to understand each question, enter their answers and submit without unnecessary effort.
Updated
OG Forms includes features that make filling out forms simpler, more accessible and more reliable.
A form that works on mobile
Respondents can open and complete your forms on phones, tablets and desktop computers.
The mobile experience includes touch friendly controls, a native date picker and a numeric keypad for phone number questions. Respondents can also use their device's camera or file picker to upload files.
Choose how questions appear
You can control how respondents move through your form.
OG Forms supports three main layouts:
- Single page: All questions appear on one page.
- Card: Respondents see one question at a time.
- Stepper: Questions are divided into pages, with back and next controls.
You can also add a progress indicator so respondents know how much of the form they have completed.
Automatic answer saving
Respondents do not have to worry about losing their answers if they reload the page, close the tab or their browser crashes.
OG Forms automatically saves their answers in their browser as they type. When they return to the form in the same browser, their draft can be restored.
The saved draft is removed after the server confirms a successful submission.
Passwords and unfinished file uploads are not saved in the browser draft.
Clear validation and error messages
OG Forms checks answers as respondents fill out the form.
If an answer does not meet a field's requirements, respondents see an error message explaining what needs to be fixed.
The server also checks answers before accepting a submission. This helps prevent invalid data from being stored.
Accessible form controls
OG Forms supports keyboard navigation and screen reader labels across form fields. Visible focus indicators help people see which field or control they are using.
A formal WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility audit has not yet been completed.
What happens after submission?
You can customize what respondents see after they submit your form.
OG Forms supports a designed thank you page with your own text and media. You can also redirect respondents to an HTTPS link after submission.
For quizzes, respondents can see their score, pass or fail status, outcome band and per-question marks, depending on the result settings.
